Among others you´ll find nendo , a young japanese design company that created these amazing lamps, referring to vernacular Japanese chochin paper lanterns. SMASH is made out of long-fibre non-woven polyester. Treated like blown glass in a production process that cannot be completely controlled. So each piece got its unique form. Low-heat LED-bulbs are being used to keep the temperature inside within a limit.
