International Times was founded in 1966. The launch of this underground magazine can be seen as an important moment for the English Independent Music Scene, as it was the first indication of the socio-cultural revolution. In 1967 the police tried to reduce the rebels at IT`s office. With it`s provoking graphic design, radical topics contributed by authors such as Germaine Greer, Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, IT rapidly became voice for the british underground culture against the establishment. Now the whole archive, containing the 205 issues, can be seen over here.
