Dionisio Gonzáles is engaged in informal architectural structures in the favelas of Sao Paulo, Brazil and their socio-cultural effects. The constructive alternatives to conventional urban planning get visual in his photographic work: Self-created elements of modern architecture get added to realistic photographs. His work reveals the possibility of sustainability in treating already existing and informal city structures in a supportive way. The buildings arising out of an elaborate creative process are meant to be public institutions. Dionisio Gonzáles is constantly working on an exchange with majors in the affected areas to get his fantastic projects realised.
