In times of social deprivation and consequential physical alienation it can obviously become a task whilst a special chance to touch somebody who is foreign to oneself…Richard Renaldi takes photos of foreigners asking them to touch each other in some physical manner.
This ongoing photographic project is called Touching Strangers – it encourages people to “think about on how we relate physically to one another, and to entertain the possibility that there is unlimited potential for new relationships with almost everybody passing by“.
